Spray drying
Spray drying is used for preparing flowable powders. In this method, liquid or slurry of the ceramic powder is rapidly dried with a hot gas. This method is used for preparing plasma sprayable powders for variety of functional applications. The powders obtained by this method are mostly spherical and they exhibit uniform particle size distribution.
