Cold Gas Spraying (CGS)
CGS process is used to obtain coatings of soft and ductile metals such as copper, nickel, aluminium, zinc, tin and their alloys and stainless steel. Homogeneous coatings with low porosity (<1 %) and minimal oxidation can be achieved by this method. Since it is a portable low pressure cold spray system, it can be used for on-site repair and restoration applications.
