Advanced Rheometer Expansion System (ARES)
ARES is a controlled strain/stress rheometer for evaluating viscoelastic properties of materials such as steady shear viscosity, normal force, shear modulus, complex viscosity, storage modulus, loss modulus and damping. It also performs steady, transient and dynamic shear measurement using parallel plate, cone plate, coquette, torsion rectangular and other fixtures in the temperature range of -150°C to +600°C. It is a very important and an essential equipment to define the process parameters for polymers and composites.
