MERCURY POROSIMETRY ANALYZER

Mercury Porosimetry Analyzer

This analytical technique involves the intrusion of Mercury at high pressure into a material through the use of a penetrometer. The pore size (r) is determined based on the external applied pressure (P) needed to force the Mercury into a pore against the opposing force of the liquid's surface tension (g) (Washburn’s Equation: Pr = 2gcosq)
