ELECTROLESS COATING PILOT PLANT FACILITY

Electroless coating pilot plant facility

Electroless nickel plating (EN) is a simple auto-catalytic chemical reduction process for depositing metals, alloys and composites. In this process metal ions are reduced using a reducing agent which is the driving force for the metal reduction to occur. Electroless nickel coatings can be obtained on larger components (1200 cm2) and difficult to plate materials like aluminum, magnesium alloys and non-conducting materials.  A maximum coating thickness of 200 µm can be achieved.
