ISHAN SINGH
SCIENTIST

Mr Ishan Singh has obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2012. His work is primarily associated with providing support to strategic sector where he contributes to national level development programs like stores release from combat aircraft and powered propeller effects on Medium altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAV. He is also working on a non-intrusive diagnostic technique called pressure sensitive paint in which the surface pressure distribution can be obtained on a wind tunnel model at a very high spatial resolution.

His research interest lies in low speed flows with a major focus on flow control techniques. Currently, he is working on some of the passive flow control like self-adaptive flaps, Gurney flaps to improve the performance of low aspect ratios wings, and vane vortex generators to improve flow quality inside a serpentine inlet.
