ACHUTHAN C PANKAJ Dr

Dr. Achuthan C. Pankaj is an accomplished mechanical engineer with a distinguished academic background. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pune, India, in 1997, followed by a Master's degree with a Gold medal from the National Institute of Technology in Allahabad, India, in 2000. In pursuit of further academic excellence, Dr. Pankaj obtained his Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from NITK Surathkal, specializing in Statistical Energy Analysis. His professional journey began in 2001 when he joined the Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute in Durgapur, India, as a scientist, focusing on design and finite element analysis.

Currently, Dr. Pankaj serves as the Head and Chief Scientist of the Systems Engineering Division at CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories in Bangalore, India. In this capacity, he also leads the Independent Monitoring Group and oversees Design Assurance for Aircraft activities. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to the field, with over 15 journal and 21 conference publications.

Dr. Pankaj's outstanding contributions have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Best Project and Best Investigative Work awards during his tenure at CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur. He has also been honored with the NAL Technology and CSIR Technology awards for outstanding group achievements at CSIR-NAL, Bangalore.
