VINOD KUMAR K

Mr. K. Vinod Kumar has Bachelor’s degree (2001) in Mechanical Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT), Bharathiyar University Coimbatore and Master’s degree (2016) in Machine Design from BMS Engineering College, VTU, Bangalore.  He joined as a Scientist in Mechanical Systems Design Group under Structural Technologies Division of CSIR-NAL in 2008. He currently works on Structural Design & Analysis of Mechanical Structures and Systems. His area of work includes Modelling and Simulation of Mechanical Systems, Kinematic & Dynamic analysis of Aircraft Systems, Stress analysis of Mechanical Structures including Aircraft components.

Prior to joining NAL, Mr. Vinod Kumar worked as Engineer in TAFE Ltd., Chennai for 3 years. He also served in Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO, Ministry of Defence) as Scientist for more than 4 years in the field of rocket propulsion systems development.
