TUSHAR R PANPATE

Mr. Tushar R Panpate is working as a Senior Scientist in National Trisonic Aerodynamic Facilities Division of CSIR- National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore. He has finished his Masters in Industrial Engineering. He has worked in Precision Tool Room section and Special Purpose Machine tool section of Ordnance Factory, Ministry of Defence as Head of Section (2002-2006). Thereafter he joined National Aerospace Laboratories in 2006 as a Scientist. He is In-charge of Manufacturing group and leading a team, for manufacturing of scaled models, Balances (Integral, Floating frame, Hinge moment and special type balances), Special Rigs and support system for high speed wind tunnel testing.

His areas of interest/specialisation are Precision machining, Advanced manufacturing techniques, Conventional and Non-conventional machining techniques and developing Additive manufacturing Techniques for wind tunnel model components.
