Ms. G. Shanthini is currently working as a Scientist in Structural Technologies Division, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bangalore. She obtained her M.Tech degree in Structural Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2010 and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Osmania University in 2008. She joined the National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bangalore in 2010.

She has a vast research experience in the field of aeroelasticity. Her work is primarily associated with providing support to strategic sector where she contributes to national and international level programs for flutter recertification either for new stores or design changes. Her area of expertise lies in predicting flutter boundaries in all the regimes (subsonic, transonic and supersonic) using ground vibration test results. Currently she is working on reliability of aircraft structures by considering structural properties as design variables. Her areas of interest include aeroelasticity, structural identification and reliability. She has 4 journal papers and 6 conference papers to her credit.
