SENTHIL KUMARAN R

R Senthil Kumaran has a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Madras. He is currently working as Senior Scientist at the Propulsion Division of CSIR-NAL and is the In-charge of Transonic Cascade Tunnel (TCT) and Large Scale Rotating Rig (LSRR) experimental facilities. His areas of interest are turbomachinery aerodynamics and gas turbines. He specializes in linear cascades, turbine end wall contours, secondary flows, rotor tip seals, turbine blade and disk cavity coolant flow aerodynamics.He is a member of ASME and a reviewer of International Journal of Turbo and Jet Engines, ASME Turboexpo, ASME GTIndia and National Aerospace Propulsion conferences.
