Raghavendra K

Raghavendra K is a Senior Scientist in the Materials Science Division at CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bangalore. He graduated with a B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum in the year 2004. Subsequently, he obtained his M.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai in the year 2014. At CSIR-NAL, he has over ten years’ experience in analysis of materials using scanning electron microscope, and also has been working in the area of failure analysis and accident investigation for the past 7 years. He has participated in more than 100 cases of engineering failures. He has also briefly worked in the area of polymer composites -Fracture mode analysis in polymer composites mainly carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) and glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) composite laminates.
