EMANDI RAJESH

Emandi Rajesh has obtained M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering with specialization in Aerospace Propulsion from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (2015). He is currently working as Scientist CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories. He is In-charge of CLOCTER facility (Closed circuit Centrifugal compressor TEst Rig facility) at Propulsion Division and is responsible for design, development, fabrication and testing of centrifugal compressor related activities in the division. His areas of expertise include design and development of compressor for turbomachinery, mechanical design of test rig components, detailed design of high speed test rigs, qualification of aircraft components such as Centrifugal compressor, heat exchanger and LRU’s (Line replacement units of aircraft)

He has carried out experimental performance evaluation of centrifugal compressor, Low solidity vaned diffuser in annular cascade tunnel, air distortion simulation studies at compressor inlet, performance evaluation of LRU’s and high speed alternators with speed ratings up to 55000 rpm and power ratings ranging from 5 to 375 kW.
