Mr.Sudhakar’s main interests are low Reynolds number flows, flow control, nozzle flows, and application of flow diagnostics techniques for low speed as well as high speed flows. His research is in the area of flow diagnostics (intrusive and non-intrusive) as applied to understanding flow physics and flow control. Particular thrust areas involve the application of short duration illumination and high speed/resolution imaging for obtaining qualitative flow visualization and quantitative measurement of off-body velocity fields. In addition, methods for flow separation control, jet mixing enhancement in the context of improving the performance of airfoil/wing, flap and nozzles where the benefits of using passive methods have been extensively studied and applied.
