Kumari Asha

Mrs. Kumari Asha obtained her Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (2002) from B.I.T. Sindri, Vinoba Bhave University, Jharkhand and Master degree in Structural Engineering (2004) from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.  She joined CSIR-NAL, Bangalore as Junior Scientist in August 2006. Her major research interests include Design and Finite Element Analysis of Composite Structure, Weight optimization and sizing of composite structure with numerical Finite Element approach and stress analysis of composite repaired structure.

She is having experience in Design and Analysis of composite wing for fourteen Seated Civil Transport Aircraft (SARAS), three-dimensional FE nonlinear analysis of critical structural joints, Sizing and weight-optimization of Composite Wing for National Civil Aircraft with finite-element numerical methodology, Development of Durable Repair for Civil Aircraft structure, Design, stress-analysis and weight-optimization of composite wing for Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) and feasibility studies on weight reduction program of two seater HANSA aircraft composite wing.
