JOSHI KOMMURI
SENIOR SCIENTIST

Mr. Joshi Kommuri currently working as a Scientist at National Trisonic Aerodynamics Facility Division. He has obtained his masters in Aerospace Engineering. He has joined as a Junior Scientist at National Trisonic Aerodynamics Facility Division, National Aerospace Laboratories in 2008.  His research mainly focused on high speed aerodynamics and wind tunnel testing. He is experienced in experimental techniques viz. force measurement using balance, steady pressure measurement using ESP scanner, unsteady pressure measurements, qualitative flow field mapping using flow visualization techniques like surface oil flow visualization, schlieren and shadowgraph visualization using high speed camera.

He was involved in the Calibration of 0.6m Trisonic Wind Tunnel with VMFN (Variable Mach Flexible Nozzle), for testing of airborne vehicles. He was actively involved in the Installation and Commissioning of Additional 900m3 Air Storage Receiver ‘G’  for the compressed air Facility at NTAF.
