Research Interests

Most of the structural optimization carried out nowadays is with strength and buckling constraints only. There is a scope to include other parameters like aeroelastic constraint, manufacturing constraints with the multiple load cases. I would like to explore this area, where research will lead to solving real world practical problems.

Professional Experience

"I, Narendra M. S. obtained B.E from Kuvempu university in the year 2000. Joined CSIR-NAL as Graduate Trainee in May 2001 and Project Engineer in 2002. I got an opportunity to work for MNC called PTC, Pune for almost one year (2003 to July 2004). Meanwhile, I got selected as Scientist-B (Junior scientist) in to CSIR-NAL, July 2004, against an open advertisement. After completing required residential period of three years, I opted and completed higher studies (M. Tech Aerospace Engineering from IIT Madras in 2009). In my last 20 years of service at CSIR-NAL, I have made significant contribution to different laboratory and Sponsored projects. Following list of project segregated under different heading, indicates broad spectrum of capability and experience to handle different projects.
