Professional Experience
"Mr. Lohith N joined NAL in 2002 and has since specialized in the design of composite structures for aerospace applications. He has extensive experience with Military and Civil aircraft, HAP platforms, and other aerospace structures. His key contributions include Design of Composite Rudder for LCA; Composite Wing, Flaperon, and Aileron for AMCA; Co-cured Wing, Fin, and Front Top Skin for SARAS Mk-I; Fin and Dorsal Fin for SARAS Mk-II. Composite Wing, Flap, and Aileron for HANSA-NG and NCAD & Co-cured Composite Structure for Re-entry Vehicle.
He was a core member of RTA and NCAD programs and led wing structural design team in NCA feasibility studies. He also led Composite Wing team of HANSA-NG through successful design and certification. As Structures Task Team Lead of HAP, he guided airframe design and subscale aircraft fabrication.
He developed software programs for composite structure sizing and mastered FEA-based optimization techniques for preliminary design and weight estimation."
