Applications
Polydimethylsilane is a common and generic precursor raw materials for many preceramic polymers such as Polycarbosilane, Polymetallocarbosilane and polydimethylsiloxanes. It is also used as photocatalysts, optical/electronic materials and photoresists.
Commercialization
Since it is a low volume –high cost polymeric material, CSIR-NAL can offer this technology on turnkey basis as total technology package as well as technical know-how to set-up a commercial scale plants.
Available in Market
High-pure, Synthesis grade–Polydimethylsilane technology is not available in the market. Detailed specifications of the product can be provided on request.
