Awards and Honors
"¿ Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, has awarded the National Award for Technology Innovation 2014 to the team comprising Dr. Anjana Jain, P. Siva Subba Rao and Dr Rajeev Jain (GTRE, DRDO) for the futuristic industrial work on “Development of Polyvinylidene (PVDF) composite films and its demonstration as an actuator for flapping Mylar wing of Micro Air Vehicle”. It is noteworthy to mention that PVDF composite was used for the first time as an actuator for the flapping wing application of MAV. Monetary terms – 2 lakh rupees.
¿ IETE- Flt. Lt. Tanmaya Singh Dandass Memorial Award for outstanding contribution in the field of aerospace - covering education, research, design, development and production during the last 10 years. Received the award on 14th Sept 2024.
