A report on Jnana Vijnana Mela at Adichunchanagiri
Jnana Vijnana a science exhibition mela was held at Adichunchanagiri from 18 to 20 february 2016 . The mela was organised by the Head of Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthan, Sri Nirmalananda Swamiji with the intention of creating a platform for the students from a wide variety of educational backgrounds and institutions to come together, learn about science and technology and portray their skills in the Engineering & Medical Field. The participants in the mela included renowned scientists from various science and research labs, engineers, engineering and medical students, primary and higher secondary school students and of course, the general public.
Spanning over two days of exhibition of individual stalls with decent floor space, exhibitors like ISRO, NAL, DRDO, ADA, DRDL and Adichunchanagiri engineering and medical college students set up and displayed their products and shared sufficient information on the technologies used, followed by practical demonstrations.
NAL also presented its present indigenous technology of MAV models like Slybird, Black kite, Pushpak, and 2 seat Hansa aircraft models amongst others and offered technical information about the products and their application. Swamiji inaugurated the stall on day one of the mela, witnessed by professors and students of various colleges, who later were visitors to the stall.
The second day of the mela was filled with even more enthusiasm and energy as it was our aspiration to present our technologies, products and services in front of celebrated scientist and the chief guest of the day, Dr. CNR Rao. Dr Rao expressed his delight at the technologies developed by us. The Adichinchanagiri kshetra facilitated Dr. CNR Rao with the prestigious award, ‘Vijnatham’ framing Vijnana Jnana and Tantrajnana.
